Building open-source tools for space, writing cocktail books, and picking up hobbies I probably don't have time for.

About me

Hey there! I'm Theodore Kruczek, but I go by Ted or TK. I'm a Radar Analyst. At the Air Force Academy I picked 6 jobs and got a random one I didn't ask for. Then I was disqualified, picked 6 more, and got another random one: Space Operations Officer. Turns out that was the best thing that could have happened - I ended up loving the challenge of modernizing our space capabilities. Over the years I've been a military operator, instructor, tactician, system administrator, and now an analyst.

When I'm not tinkering with radars or satellites, I'm usually building AI tools or working on open source projects. KeepTrack.Space, Orbital Object Toolkit, and IRIS are three of my recent projects. I've also been writing cocktail books for fun and have a few on Amazon.

I love a good stout beer and am always ready to explore craft breweries. If you're up for a conversation over a pint, consider this an open invitation.

Kruczek Labs

In 2025, my wife established Kruczek Labs to handle the business side of my creative projects - hosting, licensing, production, and capital - so I can focus on what I actually care about: building things.

That transition means someone is investing 5x the capital into growing projects like KeepTrack, my open-source libraries, and the cocktail book series. But being good stewards of that investment also means finding sustainable ways to generate revenue. The “donate if you like it” model has never managed to cover even 5% of the monthly costs.

If you use KeepTrack, the Orbital Object Toolkit, or any of my other projects commercially, consider a license through Kruczek Labs. It keeps the lights on and the code flowing.

Bring space into your classroom

If you're a K-12 educator looking for hands-on ways to teach space concepts, I'd love to help. Reach out and let's figure it out together.
